I have been spending the last couple of weeks building my sets and puppets ready for animating next week.
This is what my set and puppet looked like right at the beginning.
Here in this photo i have my trap door cut out so my puppet can leave this set to go into the next room. I spent a long time on making the trap door as i wanted the door to look real.
I used lolly pop sticks with the ends cut off for the floor board effect. I have painted the walls of my set in white paint and covered the floor, so it looks like real flooring.
With these two photos you can see the transformations as i add the fake doors and my character has clothes.
This is the front doors of my set, which took me ages to make as i wanted them to look realistic and they actually open and close!!!!!
I have started setting up my set with lighting to get an idea of what my film will look like, with the perspectives.I have a few important tasks i need to do before animating, which is completing my timings and shots, and completing my dope sheets.
